We loved the food and staff here. Free parking on site was provided. An enjoyable base for exploring Fujikawaguchiko:)))
-
You can very easily reach Lake Kawaguchiko.
-
not far from herb museum.
-
Convenient to have the lake so close
-
Value for money. Located very near the lake. Excellent customer service.
No micro wave oven in the room.
-
Leaving it.
Not a nice host there, Shuttle is advertised, picks us up from station after a long carryon with the tourist info lady at the station - they adn't allocated our booking. Japanese language aircon, he turns it onto 'fan only' in all the rooms even though it's well over 30c in there, no explanations. We're packing to leave at 10.10am, he calls and tells us get downstairs right away or he'll charge us extra. Downstairs tells me I missed shuttles back to station now, service terminated at 10.00am ( never said it before). I ask him if the cable car up the mountain is working he says "No". We walk there and see it is. What a jerk, Basil Fawlty of Japan. Makes a mockery of your website info.

Onsenji!!! And it's near the Kawaguchiko, which is breath-takingly beautiful! The wind..... Nice!!!
A bit wear-off, it's time to do some maintenance - change of some doors maybe, and will surely appreciate hotel corridors with aircond.
-
Staffs are so friendly, a minute walk to Kagaguchi Lake and public bus stop. nice to walk along the lake. Beautiful Japanese style public bath.
-
The room with the view of Mt. Fuji and its public Onsen. Be prepared to have meals outside and will be a 15 mins. walk, and no nearby Convenient Shop.
Inconvenience of having meals and Convenient shops. For what it has and the status, consider on the expensive side.

My 2nd stay at Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko, reasonable, Onsen, friendly staff, a few step to Kawaguchi lake that the reason why I choose this hotel.
-
It's proximity to Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. We could see Mt Fuji from our room. It's proximity to a Sightseeing Bus stop. Traditional Japanese room and breakfast. It was in a quiet area of town.
The smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors.

They have a very nice (free-of-charge) onsen, with one pool inside and two outside! Also, the hotel has a nice location by the lake.
The hotel is advertised as having free wifi internet available in public areas free-of-charge, which is one of the reasons why I chose it. However, when I did ask the hotel staff about it, they told me that there was no free internet available, and the only internet access was via a desktop computer located in the lobby and it costed 100 yen per hour.

Small room - very small bathroom. Room not children friendly at all. Pathetic hotel staff service.
-
the location is very close to the lake, quite place, staff very friendly and helpfull. Cleanliness, having Onsen and fair price.
Too old, time to to refurbish especially for toilet and bathroom area.
-
Onsen is my favourite during evening where most of the shops close early and a relax after a long haul day walking/sightseeing.
Overall the water was not clean at the in door Onsen. Overall hotel is not very
